Message from Executive Director:
Friends,
As we move into the season of giving, I’m reminded that the true joy of this time of year isn’t found in what we receive, but in what we give. There is something deeply meaningful about knowing that a gift has been appreciated, has brought joy, and—most importantly—has made a real difference in someone’s life. In many ways, that feeling is the real gift.
Year-end giving is also a practical opportunity. Making a charitable contribution can be a thoughtful way to lessen your tax burden while supporting causes you care about. As you finalize your year-end giving plans, I hope you’ll keep SoCal Adaptive Sports in mind. Your generosity allows us to keep our programs low- or no-cost for our athletes and their families—ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of participation, inclusion, and joy through sport.
We’re also excited to share that registration and sponsorship for the 1st Annual IncrediBOWL Adaptive & Special Needs Bowling Tournament are officially open. Our goal is bold: to create the biggest and most inclusive bowling tournament in California. We need your help to make that happen. Please share this event with friends, family, community partners, and other programs—we’re eager to reach communities we haven’t always traditionally connected with. IncrediBOWL is also a fantastic opportunity for businesses to gain meaningful exposure while demonstrating community involvement through event sponsorship.
As we head into the holidays, please note that many of our programs will go on brief hiatus. This coming week will be the final session for several programs in 2025. Be sure to check our flyers, social media channels, and website for the most up-to-date schedules and details.
Finally, whatever holiday you celebrate and whatever traditions you hold dear, all of us at SoCal Adaptive Sports wish you and your loved ones a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season. We’re incredibly grateful for your support and are already looking ahead with excitement to a new year filled with new programs, new partnerships, and new opportunities for our athletes.
Onward, Chris Allen Executive Director SoCal Adaptive Sports
Mensaje del Director Ejecutivo:
Amigos,
Adelante, Chris Allen Director Ejecutivo SoCal Adaptive Sports
