Message from Executive Director:
Friends,
Today is Easter—a day that reminds us that hope is never lost, that renewal is always possible, and that even after the hardest moments, something new can rise.
At SoCal Adaptive Sports, we see that spirit of renewal every day. We see it in athletes who refuse to be defined by limitations, in families who find strength in community, and in the simple but powerful act of showing up—with courage, resilience, and belief.
Easter is about transformation. It calls us to build a world that is more inclusive, more compassionate, and more open to possibility.
And right now, that mission is coming to life in a big way.
In just days, we will host the USA Boccia Western Regional Tournament—bringing athletes from across the western United States to Burbank to compete in one of the most inclusive Paralympic sports in the world. Boccia is unique. It’s designed so that even athletes with the most severe physical disabilities can compete, strategize, and experience the thrill of being on the court—not on the sidelines.
Even more powerful—this is a tournament where all abilities are welcome. You don’t need years of experience to participate. You just need the willingness to try.
This is what Easter looks like in action—new beginnings, new opportunities, and doors opening where they once felt closed.
Whether you’re an athlete, a family member, a volunteer, or someone who simply believes in the power of inclusion, we invite you to be part of it.
📍 April 11–12, 2026
📍 Burbank, California

On this Easter Sunday, may you find renewal in your own life—and may we continue, together, to create opportunities where everyone belongs.
Every Ability. EveryBODY.
— Chris Allen Executive Director SoCal Adaptive Sports
Amigos,
