Palm Springs Tram Hike on Saturday
We continue to offer, along with many of our friends and partners, a wide range of sports and other activities for everyBODY! We are piloting a Monday night sport coaching and workout at Kinetix Center from 6:30-7:45 PM, please see below for more details. We'd love to have you join us!
We recently received a grant from the Anderson Children's Foundation which will provide us with funds towards purchasing a van, adding sport wheelchairs and continuing our Sports for everyBODY school-based program. We are very thankful to ACF for our partnership in spreading greater awareness about adapted sports, leveling the playing field and creating greater societal inclusion.
Please register for our special events and regular adapted sports-Monday basketball, 2:15-4:15 PM in Palm Desert with DRD Adaptive. We are also continuing our Riverside youth camp during the month of July, as well as, working with Desert ARC participants in both Yucca Valley and Palm Desert.
Mike recently participated at the Triumph Foundation Adaptive Sports Weekend in Santa Clarita. This is an interview that he did explaining the sport of boccia and SoCal Adaptive Sport's purpose. Speaking of boccia, see below (you can register now) for the first southern California Regional Tournament which will be happening the weekend of January 19, 2024 at Santa Ana College.
