Expert Tennis/Pickleball Lessons in Collaboration with Special Olympics, Aceing Autism at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort. Starts October 18. Registration is on a monthly basis.
This newsletter starts off with prayers for peace throughout the world. Being a realist I know that this is unfortunately currently not possible. But we must not ignore the plight of anybody, no matter who they are, whether someone is suffering due to violence, poverty, hate, discrimination, disability and anything else that we thinks divides us. We must forgive and try to understand, no matter how painful it is for us as individuals and the societies in which we live.
I saw Peter Gabriel and his incredible band last night. Mr. Gabriel is so attuned to what is going on in the world and is very socially conscious. Please listen to his song Love can Heal which is very appropriate for these times.
Please join us this week for some new activities-tennis and pickleball and our first hike of the season. You can sign up for everything from this newsletter.
We are already advertising events for 2024-the first USA Boccia tournament in California will be held in January at Santa Ana College and an All Comers Wheelchair Tennis Camp at Indian Wells in November. If you know of athletes who might be interested please forward this information to them!
