Dear Community Members:
I hope that you had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday filled with family and friends and good memories. It's so important to be with our loved ones during the holidays, feeling love but more importantly giving love to others.
I was in New York last weekend to be with family and attend the funeral of my uncle Jerry Rosenkranz who died at the age of 88. For me, he was a mentor, elder, offering sage advice, a friend and a person I dearly love. Jerry was a very authentic person and cared about the world and helping others. He was very successful, having been on the ground floor of starting market research in the United States and thoroughly enjoyed life. He wrote a memoir and I was very fortunate to have interviewed him over zoom for seven hours as to questions that were brought up for me while reading his book. Sheila, Jerry's wife, gave me one of his jackets, which I'm sure that you'll see me wearing during the winter.
Jerry and me at the Big East Men's Basketball Tournament at Madison Square Garden in 2011. Among other things, we shared a love of sports.
